I-Flex Today Review

i-flex-today

If you’re feeling joint pain throughout your body but aren’t ready to go in for prescription drugs, I-Flex Today is looking for your business.

I-Flex Today is a glucosamine-free joint supplement designed to relieve pain throughout the body. I was curious about this approach to joint relief since most supplements seem to rely heavily on glucosamine. So I put my curiosity to work and investigated this supplement a little further.

Why No Glucosamine?

One of the selling points of I-Flex Today is its lack of glucosamine. However, since glucosamine is one of the safest, all-natural ways to treat joint pain, this may seem perplexing.

Actually, many people who are in the market for a joint supplement can’t take glucosamine. Glucosamine is derived from shellfish, which means it may cause an allergic reaction. Others choose not to take glucosamine-based supplements because the supplements aren’t kosher.

Whatever the reason, there’s a viable market for an alternative to glucosamine and I-Flex Today is attempting to fill it.

So What Is in I-Flex Today?

I-Flex Today actually relies on just one ingredient—rosa canina. Also known as rose hip, rosa canina is the round portion of the rose flower just below the petals. It contains the seeds of the rose plant, which are often used to make medicine.

Recently, it’s believed that rosa canina can ease symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis—including aching joints. In fact, one meta-analysis of several studies indicates that rose hip could actually be “better than painkillers” in treating arthritis pain.

This review was published in the medical journal “Osteoarthritis and Cartilage” and examined the effects of rose hip powder on more than 300 patients.
Some were given rose hip, while others were given standard paracetamol. Rose hip was reported to be 3 times more effective than the paracetamol, and 40% more effective than glucosamine.

Obviously, rosa canina is a great inclusion in I-Flex Today, but I’m not comfortable with it being the only ingredient. It’s easy to pick up some rose hip extract at the nutrition store with less hassle and less cost than I-Flex Today. Consequently, I can’t see a reason for choosing this supplement over the cheaper option.

Will There Be Any Side Effects?

Since I-Flex Today includes just one ingredient, all side effects are related to that ingredient. Specifically, rosa canina may cause:

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Constipation
• Heartburn
• Stomach Cramps
• Fatigue
• Headache
• Inability to sleep

Rosa canina also contains a portion of vitamin C, which could affect diabetes. However, not all experts agree on this and generally they believe rose hip is safe in medicinal amounts.

Still, it might be a good idea to drink more water while taking I-Flex Today to decrease the possibility of side effects. You should also eat nutritious, well-rounded meals.

What Do Customers Say About I-Flex Today?

Past customers seem to like I-Flex Today. Based on 13 Amazon.com reviews, I-Flex Today holds a 4/5-star rating. Here’s a look at what some customers had to say about this joint supplement.

“I have tried a lot of things to help the Osteo arthritis pain in my knees and hip, Glucosamine, MSM and the prescription and over the counter anti-inflammatory medications. All of these things did a little bit to help but, just not enough to make any real difference in how I feel. I am completely surprised at how well it works, the bottle says that it works for four out of five people. Great stuff, I say give it a try.” –C. Lockyer

“I have used this formula for a couple of weeks now because I have two bad shoulders. I have had two surgeries on my right shoulder and will be having a surgery on my left shoulder within a month. This product has helped my shoulders tolerate the physical therapy that I go through by allowing my joints to move more smoothly. I would recommend this product.” –Michael L. Wood

“My husband loves i-flex Joint Formula. It works better for him than glucosamine and chondrotin. I’ve started taking it too.” –slippery

“When I first seen this product, I jumped at the chance to buy it; it was what I was looking for and no glucosamine! Well when I read about it, it kinda got my hopes up, but after the first night when I took 2 capsules I had tremendous stomach pains. The next morning, I released the hostages (went to the bathroom) 5 times!” –Shane Lindsley

As you can see, most people are pleased with I-Flex Today, though it does have the potential to cause gastrointestinal distress.

What’s the Best Deal on I-Flex Today?

One of the great things about I-Flex Today is the widespread availability. I-FlexToday.com provides links to 11 supermarkets and 8 online retailers, all of whom carry I-Flex Today. You can find I-Flex Today at Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aid, and Shopko, among others. Or, you can order online from these retailers:

CVS.com—$29.99
Drugstore.com—$23.99
iHerb.com—$21.95
SupplementFirst.com—$23.95
VitaminShoppe.com—$21.99
Vitacost.com—$22.49
Walgreens.com—$29.99
Walmart.com—$19.79

These prices are pretty low for a joint supplement. However, you can still save some money by buying rose hip extract on its own—essentially the same thing as I-Flex Today.

Rose hip extract typically retails from $5.00 to $15.00 online. The markup on I-Flex Today isn’t much, but it’s still enough to make a difference.

Should You Try I-Flex Today?

Saying I-Flex Today is a good product is essentially saying rose hip is effective in treating joint pain. I have no doubt that I-Flex Today will help relieve some of your arthritis-related pain, but you could do the same thing with rose hip.

However, if you don’t want to bother figuring out a proper dosage, maybe spending a few extra dollars on I-Flex Today is a good idea.

My husband had zero caalrtige on his right knee. Knee arthritis usually shows up as a small (or large) patch of ooze around your knee. It swells. Muscle aches don’t swell up. My husband took DLPA amino acid for pain. The pain left in a day and never came back. He no longer needed it after a month as the amino acid gets the body to produce the endorphins to fight its own pain.DLPA makes people like me anxious. It is not for people with predispositions to anxiety disorders. At the same time we went to GNC and got him Triple Joint Flex. In about a month his caalrtige was rebuilt and he was walking about. All this and no knee replacement surgery. Today, about a year later, he just takes the Joint Flex for maintenance..

I have used I-flex for over a year and then ran out and used another brand because I could not find I-flex at CVS or WalMart. In one month on the other brand I have hip and knee pain as before. I am happy to say I am back on I-flex and the pain is gone and the mobility is back again. The problem, finding the product.
