“FlexiPrin is the Solution!”
FlexiPrin is touted as a powerful joint pain reliever, targeting inflammation and stiffness in “as little as two hours.” Supposedly FlexiPrin is more effective than joint supplements containing glucosamine and chondroitin, and it even comes highly recommended by Dr. Ronald Jahner.
“FlexiPrin™ has been extinguishing inflammation by flooding dry joints with rejuvenating lubrication and rebuilding damaged cartilage,” he explains.
Glucosamine and chondroitin supplements are the most relied on ingredients for arthritis relief. If FlexiPrin can outperform these supplements, then I’d have no problem recommending this supplement.
But on the other hand, I’ve seen similar claims before. Is FlexiPrin all show and no go?
Inside the Bottle
Many supplements hide behind a proprietary blend, making it impossible to tell if the ingredients are in their clinically proven and effective amounts. Consequently, when I first looked at FlexiPrin’s label, I was impressed at the openly disclosed ingredient concentrations. Additionally, FlexiPrin.com provides in-depth descriptions about each ingredient used on its “More Info” page.
In case you are unfamiliar with these ingredients, here’s a quick breakdown of what they do.
Perluxan. Perluxan is a proprietary blend of hops and alpha acids. It inhibits pro-inflammatory chemicals while relaxing the body.
Cat’s Claw. In 1997, Cat’s claw was ranked as the seventh most popular herb in US sales due to its abilities to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It contains chemicals that stimulate the immune system while relieving knee pain related to physical activity.
Cynatine FLX. Cynatine is a natural source of the amino acid cysteine, which binds to poisonous forms of acetaminophen produced in the liver. Animal studies suggest Cynatine FLX activates two joint antioxidant defense enzymes, glutathione perosidase and superoxide dismutase. It also eliminates free radicals, reducing oxidative stress on damaged joints.
Fruitex-B. Fruitex-B is a combination of calcium and boron. Boron enhances calcium and magnesium absorption, which in turn promotes healthy bones and reduces risk of osteoporosis. According to one study, almost 2/3 of participants who received Fruitex-B were pain free or had significantly less pain after 4 weeks.
BosPure Boswellia Serrata. A high-quality extract of boswellia serrata, or Indian frankincense, this ingredient is commonly used for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain, and tendonitis. Its resin contains substances that may decrease inflammation.
Hyal-Joint. A trademarked form of hyaluronic acid, Hyal-Joint provides cushion and reduces friction between bones. It is capable of carrying up to 1000 times its weight in water.
Ginger. Although it is popularly used as a digestive aid, ginger contains chemicals that may reduce inflammation as well as nausea.
Tumeric. Tumeric contains the plant pigment Rutin, which can strengthen blood vessels and reduce swelling.
Bioperine. Although bioperine has little effect on joint health on its own, this ingredient enhances the absorption of other ingredients in FlexiPrin, making the formula more effective overall.
Are These Ingredients Safe?
I’d be cautious about taking FlexiPrin since it may cause side effects.
Cat’s Claw may cause headaches, dizziness, and vomiting in some individuals.
Furthermore, boswellia extract can trigger stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea.
Some ingredients may react negatively with certain medications, so consult your doctor before using FlexiPrin.
Is FlexiPrin Easy to Use?
FlexiPrin is easy to use. Simply take 2 capsules twice daily for the first month of use. Then, you can reduce intake to two capsules once daily for maintenance. To reduce risk of stomach upset, take FlexiPrin with food.
What Consumers Are Saying
There are not a lot of FlexiPrin consumer reviews, but the few I read at Webutation.net seemed promising:
Susiern wrote, “I have been using Flexiprin for about 3 weeks now and it has revolutionized my life. I have 2 herniated discs and 3 levels of spinal degeneration. I was lterally unable to stand up straight or sit. I had radiating pain down both legs and was in tears daily. After 3 days I was walking upright and in considerably less pain. Three weeks later I am off narcotics and antiinflammatory meds and feel like a new person. I was begging for surgery before and now I think I can go a few more years without it. Incidently at the same time I also had a partially torn rotator cuff that I am scheduled for a steroid injection for in a few days. The pain in my shoulder is completely gone and I may not even need the injection any more. That is just a bonus since I wasn't expecting any results for my shoulder. The only thing is that I have to take the pills with food or I get bad heartburn or uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. It is definitely worth it. I dont even take the recommended 2 pills. One at a time twice a day is enough for me now.”
Annasaint adds, “I am personally wanted to let you know that this product is amazing! I sit a lot at my desk and when I get up I walk like a 150 year old woman (LOL). Since I have been taking the product I feel fantastic. I don't like to take pills but I do take this one.”

More About Better Health Nutritionals
FlexiPrin is produced and sold by Better Health Nutritionals, a company located in Portland, Maine.
According to the Better Business Bureau, the company received an F rating on an A+ to F scale.
One reason it received this rating is due to the unresolved customer complaints filed in the last 3 years.
Additionally, “On 06/22/2012 BBB wrote to Better Health Nutritionals and asked the business to substantiate the following advertising claims:
‘More effective than the #1 Joint Supplements containing Glucosamine and Chondroitin.’
“BBB found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising. As of 06/22/2012 the business has failed to voluntarily substantiate these claims.”
Who is Dr. Ronald Jahner, N.D.?
FlexiPrin comes highly recommended by Dr. Ronald Jahner, N.D., and his picture is featured prominently on FlexiPrin’s website.
Since many supplements feature false doctors to give the illusion of credibility, I decided to see who this doctor really is.
Surprisingly enough, Dr. Ronald Jahner, N.D. is a legitimate doctor. He has been recognized as a national Board Certified Naturopathic Physician with a diploma in Acupuncture. Additionally, Dr. Jahner has over 30 years of personal and professional experience in applying “universal principals of health and spiritually mastering life challenges.”
Whether or not this is a paid endorsement specifically for the website or if he really recommends FlexiPrin is currently unknown.
Pick it or Pitch it?
FlexiPrin seems to be a good supplement for improving joint health. The consumer reviews (though few in number) are positive, and many of the ingredients are backed with clinical research.
My biggest concern is with the company, not the product. The company’s poor reputation and autoship program reflect badly on FlexiPrin’s abilities.
While FlexiPrin may work, you may be better off investing in a product with a reliable manufacturer.
